Reaching over 100,000 villages monthly, the Chhaya Integrated Village Health and Sanitation and Nutrition Day (CiVHSND) is an essential healthcare platform in UP. This platform empowers communities by providing vital Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition (RMNCH+N) services, with a focus on integrated, beneficiary-centric care.
UP TSU’s robust monitoring system, which includes direct observation by district, block, and below-block officials and a comprehensive measurement matrix, supports ensuring the effectiveness of the CiVHSND platform. This data-driven approach provides valuable insights that guide resource allocation, identify areas for improvement, and enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes.
The Brief describes the methodology that was evolved by UP TSU along with GoUP to measure the availability, coverage, and quality of service delivery.
